The short version

Bonban has no accounts, no logins and no newsletter. We do not ask you for personal information and there is nowhere on this site to give us any. Everything below is detail about the small amount of data that changes hands anyway.

What we do not collect

• No accounts, passwords or profiles.
• No email addresses, unless you choose to write to us.
• No payment information. Nothing is sold on this site.
• Nothing you type into the calculators. They run entirely in your browser and transmit nothing.

Analytics

Analytics is currently not enabled on this site. If it is switched on in future, this page will be updated to name the provider and describe what it collects before any tag is added.

You can block analytics with any content blocker, with your browser's tracking protection, or by enabling Do Not Track. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer or its advertising network may set a cookie so that a resulting purchase is attributed correctly. That cookie is set by the retailer, not by us, and is governed by their privacy policy. We never see your name, address or payment details. See the affiliate disclosure for how this works.

Outbound sponsored links pass through a redirect on this domain. It records nothing about you beyond the ordinary web server log entry described below, and it exists to stop automated crawlers from registering as clicks.

Server logs

The web server that hosts this site keeps standard access logs: IP address, timestamp, requested page, referring page and user agent. These are used for security and to diagnose faults, are not combined with anything else, and are not used to build a profile of you.

Third-party content

Map pages load map tiles from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Both are subject to their own privacy policies. No other third-party scripts run on this site.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time. Write to hello@bonban.com.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
